First off, the product seems to be pretty good. Well packaged, maybe too much packaging, but it also comes with a soft cloth envelope to stow your laptop in. This cloth is quite thin, so it would be more from protecting from scratches than shock absorbing. The downside: it looks nothing like the picture. I went with this case over others out there because of how vibrantly beautiful it looks in the pictures on this website and on the product's own packaging. However, the actual green is darker/duller and closer to an apple green than the yellow-green pictured here. Since I was only in for the color, this was a major disappointment. :/ If you are a fan of apple green this case is for you. Oh, here are some more details about the case: The case is hard, opposed to jelly like, but still kind of rubbery. The surface feels very soft to the touch. It is quite thin and light. It snaps on to the edge of the laptop. The top half (attached behind the monitor) is not entirely secure, it bends a bit when you open the laptop. This bending occurs at the point of contact. For now, my MacBook is rather stiff to open, so the pressure from my thumb displaces the case. It goes right back to how it was, it does not show signs that it would warp long term. It does not fall off.
