I got this laptop instead of a tablet because I like the added versatility and a little bigger size doesn't make a huge difference to me. The laptop is fairly quick (partially thanks to the solid state HD); however, the downsides are the weak speakers and quirky touchpad. The speakers are barely loud enough to be able to play a movie/TV show on it and have enough juice to make it sound good. The touchpad has had some issues where it almost acts like it fell asleep. Overall, satisfied with the purchase and am much happier having the added RAM, processing speed, HDMI out, and SSHD that cheaper ones don't have.
