I liked this product as it was exactly what I was searching for. I've been through a lot of docking stations, and so far, this one does it for me. The actual ipad/ipod app that goes with this is pretty unreliable, but that's not what this review is about. The sound is great for the large room I live in, and the motorized rotation is suprisingly quite quiet. Do be careful removing the ipad though. It is a sliding motion, so if you just yank it out, you have no one to blame but yourself when you break the mount. It has the mounting brackets for both ipad 1 and 2, and most generations of ipod. The remote is a bit flimsy, so be careful with it. I also like how using the next and previous buttons, while watching youtubes videos, allows me to play and replay videos in my history. If you're worried about the ugly look of it when the ipad is out, (lol) just take the bracket off and it gets a whole lot more attractive. I hope this helps everyone make an informed purchase!
