This is the second Brother multi-function printer I have owned. The old one worked perfectly for several years. When I found out that Brother was offering this new MF Printer with 11 x 17 output capability I was tempted to buy one because I frequently print/fax/copy floorplan drawings. Then when I found out that it was less than $300 on Amazon I purchased one immediately and gave my old MF Printer to a friend. I have not been disappointed. It was easy to set up and working in a matter of minutes. The warm up cycle at the beginning of a print job is a little slow, but fairly typical for this type of machine. I haven't found any complaints with it. The ability to print/fax/copy/receive 11 x 17 drawings is awesome. I fully expected that the downside to this printer would be the cost of the ink cartridges. Wrong again! Replacement Ink cartridges, in both black and color, were relatively cheap and available in XL and XXL capacities. One last thing. This is not a photo printer. Color printing is sharp and acceptable for most business applications, but don't expect to print photos. This is a great, inexpensive business printer. I have been using it daily for about 6 weeks without so much as a hiccup. I highly recommed it.
