Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and CriticismI just came from listening to the RF-82II with the RC-62 center and color me impressed. I have always been a Heritage series bigot, preferring the sound quality of a 3 way horn speaker and the powerfull bass generated by both porting and passive radiators. I own the Forte II's amd a quartet center channel(my favorites, I like 'em better than the Cornwalls). I was expecting to be less than surprised by the two way system, but instead I came away with an impression of a powerfull, dynamic speaker at home with video game soundtracks, movies and music. There was none of the shrillness accompanying many two way horn systems. Would I trade them for my Heritage series stuff, no way. Were I to go out and get something modern and aesthetically appealing, the answer is yes. Fortunately my wife understands my fetish and I accomodate her with a pair of the RF-62's and an RC-62 in her playroom. I have a man cave, she has her room, fair enough.
