I really like this Incipio Off-Grid case. I prefer it over the O-box Defender my wife got me because it's so much less bulky and doesn't have the rubbery, tacky case that sticks to everything that the Defender has. It's much easier to carry around and slide into your pocket. The Off-Grid doesn't add much bulk either, and having the security of the extra battery whenever you need it goes a long way. I've not dropped my 4S with this case so I can't comment on the durability from drops, nor do I plan on it for that matter. It's so much easier to carry around that the other case that I'm actually LESS likely to drop this phone now.One note about fitment...there will be a small gap between the top part of the case (cap?) and the main part of the case. If the phone is not installed correctly there will be a slightly larger gap. It is a fairly tight fit and you have to be careful when sliding the phone into the case. Take your time and make sure there is no gap around the edge of the phone and that's how you will know it is installed correctly.Oh, lastly, you have to remove the top part of the case if you want to use earphones...at least the ones I use (Etymotic ER-4S). The plug will not go in all the way. I will probably modify the size of the hole to work with my jack by drilling the hole slightly larger. If it were not for this one small thing the case would get 5 stars.
