I purchased 4 of these in the last month, using two for internal access/storage and backup, and the other two for external backup and storage. The two that are internal have been pretty much in use constantly and overall I'm very happy with the performance, stability, and quietness. Good spin-up and read times, and thus far no data issues. What I truly like about these is the no-hassle setup. Seriously, plug in and use. No extra software, none of those shadow drives built into the hardware, no nothing - just a blank, formatted drive you're free to do with as you please straight out of the box (NTFS Formatting - Windows). As with any other external drive of this size, get two - one for primary use, and one for immediate backup.
