Imagine preparing your presentation. You arrive at the meeting room. The a/v person asks you for a copy of your presentation, and you calmly reach into your pocket, pull out your presentation pointer, slide out the small USB dongle from the pointer's body, and state, "Please plug this in. My presentation is on the memory card, and the dongle is also for my pointer ... " Well, with a/v equipment mis-match horror stories all around us, it isn't quite the Nirvana scenario I just wrote., and i still carry my own computer, projector, and screen with me at all times. But this device is my "Plan B," where I can carry my presentations (saved in Keynote, PowerPoint, and QT formats) all on its included 2GB memory card, to be as compatible as I can be with varying a/v setups. You will love the physical "feel" of this device: It has that smooth, "rubberized" material on it. It works well in either hand. Button layout is simple. The pointer is a bright green LED - green being a little more impactful (well, ok, I'll say it - green LEDs are just cool). Unit runs off of a pair of standard AAA alkalines.
