Good board with okay options, built in sound card from X-Fi is great, color scheme looks nice and the Marvell 9182 controller is a big step up from the 9128. I still had a working i7 970 and was looking for a good X58 motherboard upgrade with SATA III that would run at supported SATA 6Gb/s, the Marvell 9182 is close, if building new I would start with Sandy Bridge or wait for LGA 2011.Pros: The X-Fi built in sound and the 9182 Marvell controller makes this board a must upgrade. The SandForce SSD controller (SF-2281) BSOD bug doesn't seem to be affected on the Marvell 9182 controller, I have ran a OCZ Vertex 3 VTX3-25SAT3-120G with firmware 2.11 on this controller and it's been solid for over a month.Cons: No push button power switch built into the board, with the high price of this board, it should be there!
