Prevents oxidation, a common cause of failure to most DVD-R's
Tested under the most extreme conditions to ensure a storage life of 100 years. Gold is one of the most reflective robust elements on Earth. More than 20? of 24k gold in every DVD-R. Maximum resistance to the harmful effects of oxidation, a main cause of failure to optical media.
Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism I have 5 DVD burners in 3 different machines. These discs will work with exactly ONE of them. They're incompatible with the others. As the company suggested, I upgraded drivers and tried a few of the tricks they recommended. Nothing worked. Also, when I realized they weren't working, the company offered to refund my money. After a week of trying to get one to work, they withdrew their offer...sticking me with a spindle of very expensive, almost worthless DVDs. As far as if they'll actually last 100 years? Nobody can possibly know. Big thumbs down.
