I bought this camera through Tiger Direct. Due to the low battery time using the HD features, I tried to buy a replacement/backup battery from Tiger (you must recharge the battery through a USB connection to your computer or a 5-Volt USB power supply, which may not be readily available). They had no info for a replacement battery. I then contacted the manufacturer, Red Dot Imaging. I received an email from them today advising me that there was no user replaceable battery available and if replacement was necessary the camera would have to be sent in so they could do it. Don't think I've ever heard of this before. If you buy one, keep in mind that you are at the mercy of the manufacturer if your battery ever fails. BTW, it's an excellent little camera and does exactly what they say it will do. Don't look for any battery information with it's documentation because there isn't any.
