With its Max-X band-pass ported subwoofer, Labtec's Pulse 475 2.1-channel PC speaker system is designed to deliver strong bass response in a compact system. The stereo satellite speakers are powered by eight watts apiece (RMS, or average), and the subwoofer receives a hefty 12 watts. Independent bass level and master volume controls are conveniently located on the subwoofer's front panel, and the flat-bodied satellite speakers not only looks great, they also help conserve valuable desk space. The system includes an AC power adapter and color-coded speaker cables to keep installation as simple as possible.

Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and CriticismI have been using this system for couple of days, even though the frequency responce is not as good as my last creative speakers I am satisfied with its performance. For some reason i was not able to find even a single set of speakers with frequency responce starting from 20Hz at an affordable price. All seem to have minimum responce of around 40Hz and if you are buying one with that responce I think Pulse 475 has an edge. The system is compact making it ideal for Laptop users like me. Still I have not been able to check its full output as the whole floor vibrates at half and I don't want to have an argument with the guy downstairs.
