Honestly Flexible BeoCom 4 is a plug and play concept, which means that no downloads or programming is necessary before using the phone - simply plug it in and use it. It has all the relevant functions, and yet operation is easy and explicit. The innovative navigation wheel makes for very easy use of the features, including Redial and Caller ID list, and Phonebook for up to 200 names and numbers.

Never Lose Power The handset controls battery charging, so you can always place the handset in the base after use, even if the battery does not need recharging. Leaving the handset in the base does not reduce the lifetime of the battery. When the battery requires charging, a message appears on the display, and the handset beeps during calls.

Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and CriticismI bought this telephone to replace an older model (the BeoCom 6000 cordless, which I understood was now available only as a two-line telephone, for which I had no need),that had gone bad after a respectable number of years of use. I was disappointed to learn that the telephone was no longer made in Denmark but in the Czech Republic, but decided, nevertheless to give it a try. It's sturdy, reliable and has a good range throughout the house. The list of calls made and the "Caller ID" are now consolidated, which takes slight getting used to. I wish, as long as they had made a new model, they would have included a speaker phone feature, which its predecessor didn't have either.
