Revealing surprising layers of detail, the Reference Series RS-52 II brings a huge dose of reality and convenience to the world of surround sound. Let's just say you'll hear everything in its full glory no matter where you sit.
Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism I read that your surrounds should match the power of your fronts. So I have Klipsch R-52's all around, a Klipsch 10-inch subwoofer, 6.1 setup, Sony STR-DN1010 receiver, in a 24' by 18' man cave. I like 6.1 sounds better to me than 7.1 because 3 surrounds balance out 3 fronts. These surrounds are bigger and heavier than a book case or satellite surround. They create a sound envelope that makes you feel like your in the movie. The sound is sharp and accurate. It can product nice bass too, but the subwoofer should handle the deep wall bending bass. Now If you are getting serious about your home theater and are ready for a mid grade setup, these are a great.
